Dedicated Minecraft hosting
Minecraft server hosting on raw EPYC hardware.
Java + Bedrock, modded + vanilla, low-lag SMPs that scale
Why dedicated Minecraft hosting
Minecraft is the most popular game Klin hosts. A dedicated Minecraft server gives your SMP a fixed home, persistent world, and admin/moderator controls that shared hosting can't match. Klin runs Java and Bedrock, vanilla and modded, on the same EPYC hardware pool used by every other game on the platform.
We recommend Paper or Fabric for almost every Java SMP — Paper for plugin-heavy SMPs, Fabric for modpack-heavy survival or questlines. For Bedrock, we run the official Bedrock Dedicated Server with allowlist + crossplay support.
RAM is the real bottleneck for Minecraft. The default 6 GB plan handles 5-10 vanilla players comfortably; modded SMPs and 30+ player networks want 12-16 GB. Klin prices are per-GB, so you pay for what you actually need — and resizing a Minecraft server up or down takes a single panel click.
Plan choice at a glance: • Vanilla Java, <10 players → 6 GB • Modded Fabric/Forge, 10-30 players → 12 GB • Large SMP + minigames + bedrock bridge, 30-60+ → 18-24 GB
Regions: US East, US West, EU West, EU Central. Pick the region your friends live in — most players notice sub-50 ms ping to the nearest node.
Latency to most US-East players is under 45 ms. Klin runs AMD EPYC nodes with NVMe storage, so world saves, backups and chunk loads don't stall your SMP during peak play hours.
Minecraft server FAQ
The questions our customers ask before signing up.
How much RAM does my Minecraft server need?
6 GB handles a vanilla SMP up to 10 players. 12 GB is comfortable for a 20-30 player modded SMP running Fabric or Forge. 18-24 GB is right for large minigame servers or 60+ player networks.
Does Klin support Minecraft modpacks?
Yes — bring any Forge, Fabric, or Paper plugin set. The Klin panel includes SFTP access, one-click jar swap and a console that mirrors the standard Minecraft server logs.
Can I run Java and Bedrock together?
Yes — Klin supports Geyser + Floodgate so Bedrock clients can join a Java SMP. We test the most common combos (Geyser, ViaVersion, Paper) at provisioning time.
Where are Klin Minecraft servers located?
US East, US West, EU West and EU Central. You pick the region on signup; the server stays in that region for the lifetime of the instance.
